Kathryn Heslop (Barrister and Solicitor)

Fisher Legal was privileged to have Kathryn join its team in September 2016.

A passionate criminal defence lawyer, Kathryn’s academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in political and international studies) at Murdoch University in 2010 followed by a Master of Laws at University College London in 2011.  In 2012 Kathryn was admitted to practice in Western Australia.

Kathryn has worked in criminal law since this time in a range of private settings and community legal centres, and was acting principal solicitor at the Family Violence Prevention Legal Services in Albany. In addition she has spent time practicing law internationally – in 2013 interning at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and in 2016 as a solicitor at the London Borough of Lambeth. This background has proven her to be a highly talented and capable advocate with international experience rarely seen.

Kathryn also accepts instructions in the area of family law and restraining orders. She  is able to provide comprehensive advice on a range of matters. Kathryn has a strong interest in criminal law and has acted in a range of complex and sensitive matters. She is an asset to our team.
